Where I've been

My dad was in the Air Force, so we moved every couple of years — six countries before I was grown. Different food, different language, different everything, and a fast lesson that California is not the world. What stuck is what didn't change: people everywhere are pulled toward the same few things. Community, love, connection. That's what makes us human.
